Pentland Scouts support Scouting activities in South-West Edinburgh and the surrounding villages. Pentland District is part of the SE Scotland Scout Region which is in turn part of Scouts Scotland. Scouts Scotland is national body which represents the UK Scout Association in Scotland.
Pentland welcomes young people in areas such as Ratho, Balerno, Currie, Baberton, Juniper Green, Lanark Road, the Calders, Sighthill, Longstone, Slateford, Chesser, Polwarth, Bruntsfield, Craiglockhart, Oxgangs, Colinton, Bonaly, Redford, Colinton Mains, Wester Hailes, Dalry, Gorgie.
